Daddy has been working very hard to get the nursery all ready...

Third Trimester ...

So we are in the finally stretch, started the third trimester and the count down is on. I can't believe that 28 weeks has already past (this is flying by) and soon enough the babies will be here kicking and screaming (I hope not to loud). I am in the nesting stage for sure because I want to be fully ready since Kali came early and I had nothing ready. Wish us luck that we get past 34 weeks.... I am thinking they will come the end of September on uncle JoJo's birthday. We shall see...

OUT OF WORK !!!

Well went to the doctors again on July 11th and because I have started to get major cramping in my back that causes my legs to go numb, my doctor has put me on a leave from JetBlue until I have the babies. Which is probably a good thing I was in so much pain somedays from sitting so long that I was taking phone calls and crying through them. Besides that Babies are doing good and still growing well. The kicks don't make me jump anymore :D

Went to the doctors today and babies are growing good and I am doing good. When they kick it makes me jump since I am not use to it.

So today we went to the IMC medical center for our high risk ultra sound for the twins. When we started the ultra sound the babies where facing each other and the girl was hitting towards the boy. It was so funny that you could already see that she was aware someone was there. So we are 100% SURE that we are having a BOY and GIRL. Made me so excited and I am sure Kali was too. The ultra sound machine was so high tech it was crazy to see each organ and you could see the hearts working.

The girl was moving so much it made the boys picture on  the right look all creepy because the fluid moving around so much. By the time we were done getting picture of the boy we went to get her picture she had turned over and was facing the other direction. She is going to be a mover...

Boys? Girls? or Boy/girl?

So today May 16th 2013 is the day I am hoping to find out if we are having Boys, Girls or one of each.

Jasen, Kali and I went to my doctors today hoping to find out what the babies are. When we went in for the ultra sound the doctor could not tell for sure what they were. I was just thinking to myself that I was going to go to fetal photo to find out because I was so ready to know.

When I was waiting for the doctors assistance to fill out my paperwork for work another lady asked me what we are having and it made me get emotional not knowing (pregnancy hormones kicking in). my doctor walked by as I got emotional and I was trying to turn away and not act like a baby about it.

As we were walking out my doctor was walking towards me and said "I feel like I upset you, come with me and we can try this other machine but i can not guarantee   anything"  that made me a little more happy. When we went in he said it looks like a boy and girl but not 100% because we could not tell if it was the umbilical cord because sometimes that could show up.

                          

I was pretty sure that it was a boy and a girl because the girl you could see the 3 lines and the boy you could not see the lines on.

After we some what found out we went to lunch with my mom and grandma and I let Kali tell them what we had found out but made sure to say it was not 100%. Jasen thinking he is funny says "it's only a 5% chance or even a -5% in which made me emotional again (smart A)

Boys? Girls? or Boy and Girl?

So tomorrow we are probably going to be able to find out what our BABIES are going to be. I am not sure if I am excited, nervous or scared. it is all going by so fast. And to think in January I went from having a miscarriage to being done with trying to such a big surprise that was waiting for us.

I went to Kali's school to volunteer last week and her teacher was telling me how Kali is so excited and talks about the babies a lot. Makes me feel so good that we had such a wonderful surprise and that she is excited to be a big sister.

Kali wants them to be girls, Jasen wants them to be boys and I want a boy and a girl we shall see... most important everyone wants them to be healthy...

UPDATE on Twins!

Besides all the morning sickness everything is going great. On Kali's birthday I felt the first little bump.

Baby A heart rate 149 and the view is from the back and you can see the spin and the head is to the right.

Baby B heart rate 140 and you can see the profile and the feet also the hands are very light but right by the face you can see a little outline of them.

Here is the two of them together baby on left is baby A and baby on the right is baby B.

You can see baby A is upside down and baby B you can see the head and arms.



New Car !!!

So Jasen got us a new family mobile.... and no we did not get a minivan.... We got a Nissan Armada and we love it. Kali especially loves the TV. Will put pic when I get it washed.

Our Sweet Grandma YaYa.... she is doing all our laundry. I asked Kali last night if she was going to help me with laundry once the twins come and she said "No" I asked her why and she tells me "because YaYa does our laundry"... I tried to explain that that was only for now but she is pretty sure YaYa will continue to do our laundry ... made me laugh

Genders??? Grandma Bobbi wants to do a gender reveal party to announce what the twins are going to be. I am no sure if I want to have a party since we are going to be doing baby showers as well... I want to have a picture taken of the 3 of us opening a box that says Boys, Girls or Boy Girl on it with balloons in it so when we open the box we can get a cute pic of us finding out what they are going to be.... There is so many more decisions to make with knowing there is TWO of them coming...

ONLY 2 more weeks and we are done with the first trimester.... please hurry so I am not sick anymore :)

Aunt Nichol was having fun with clothes today... a couple more weeks and we may find out what the two of them are going to be ...

TWINS!!! OMG

So went to the doctors on March 14, 2013 and my levels were doing great. Doctor wanted to do another ultrasounds to make sure everything looked good. So we went to the ultrasound room and when he started I of corse looked to the monitor to see what was there.... I then said "was that two" the doctor looked at me and smiled shaking his head yes.... I instantly started to cry all these emotions and the shock of having two. The ultrasound tech that was in the room was also so excited because that was the first time she was in the room with someone that found out they were having twins.... When I walked out of the room the whole office was clapping with excitement.

I then text Jasen a picture of the two of them together...

I then waited about 10 min to see what his response was and got nothing so I called him and had to wait for him to call me back. I said "did you see the picture?" and he was not sure what he was looking at so I said "how many circles do you see?" he then said "it that two?" and I said  "yes" and of course started crying... I then messaged my mom, dad and Jasens mom the picture as well and my phone started going crazy once the parents knew I then started calling everyone else.

PREGNANT!

On February 13, 2013 I was feeling kind of yucky and thinking something was wrong. So me being funny I decided maybe I should take a test. I went to Walmart to buy one and just kept thinking I should not buy one because it is going to be negative.... but much to my surprise it came back right away with a positive (fater then a test has ever come back) I was trying to hold it in until the following day which was Valentines Day but I could not wait. So when Jasen got home I said look in my drawer in the bathroom when he opened it he said "Is that from the last one" so I said "no, it is a new one I just took today". We were both kind of surprised because on January 7th I had a miscarrage but I was only less than 4 weeks so that was a little emotional but not to hard to get over.

The following day I had a doctors appointment to follow up from the month before. So I called my doctors to let them know I had a positive test again and they had me get blood work before my appointement. Sure enough I am PREGNANT. My next Appointment is on March 14 so we will see how everything goes.
